Cider with Pork Pineapple and Cardamom


You will need:-


Seeds from two cardamom pods

butter or olive oil to fry

2 onions

4 pints of cider 3 to drink and one for the sauce

Tin of pineapple

Salt and pepper to taste


Brown the pork gently and put into a casserole dish.Caramelise the onions.Drain the oil from the onions,and add the cardamom pods until the aroma is released.Place the pork into a casserole dish and cover with the cider and caramelised onions.Cook until the meat is tender.
